Scottish White Water Odyssey

Dates to be arranged.

This trip is aimed at the grade 2/3 paddler who wants to improve their personal skills as well as push themselves to have some fun!

We will be taking a flexible approach to using venues which may include the Central Scottish highlands around the River Tay or Western Scotland near Fort William.

White water kayaking in Scotland

Transport:
The initial plan is to travel together in the Wild River van, cutting down on fuel costs. This will give us the flexibility to travel to whichever venue is best suited to our needs.

Accommodation:
During the trip we will stay at a range of good quality campsites. This will probably include the SCA campsite at Grandtully and Roy Bridge campsite near Fort William. You will need full camping equipment for the trip.

The venues we use will be within reach of a variety of hostels and other accommodation options. These are available if the weather gets bad or if you would like a night or two in a bed. We can easily arrange whichever option suits the individuals on the trip.

Food:
During the trip we will stop at supermarkets and perhaps cook together if appropriate. There will be a two ring gas burner available, along with some cooking pans. However we would recommend a degree of self-sufficiency to allow for flexibility.

Costs:
The total cost for 5 days is £500 plus fuel costs.

You will need to allow for your food, camping and any other costs you might incur.
