This privacy policy sets out how Wild River uses and protects any information that you give Wild River when you use this website.

Wild River is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Customers should know that information will be passed to Wild River staff or affiliates or British Canoeing as is appropriate for the running and certification of courses.

All information passed to Wild River will be treated as confidential and will only be passed to third parties with the prior consent of the customer. Customers should know that information will be passed to Wild River staff or affiliates or British Canoeing as is appropriate for the running and certification of courses. Email addresses will not be passed to any other persons or companies apart from the situation described above.

Name.
Contact information including address, email address and telephone number.
Age and relevant medical information.
Emergency contact information including name and telephone number.
Personal information relevant to accessing Wild River boats and equipment such as height and weight.
Previous paddlesport experience and relevant qualifications.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

Internal record keeping.
Store relevant personal information to track paddlesport development and progression.
We may use the information to improve our products and services.
We may periodically send promotional emails about new courses, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, or mail.

Photographs
Wild River may take photographs or video during your course. These images remain the property of Wild River and may be used as a marketing resource by Wild River. This may include the use of images on The Wild River website. If you do not wish Wild River to use these images then please notify us of this in writing. Please note that if British Canoeing select an assessment course for remote standardisation, we are required to supply video evidence of one the assessment tasks been undertaken by one of the candidates.
