Paddle UK Safety and Rescue Training
Wild River provides the Paddle UK Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Course, White Water Safety and Advanced White Water Safety along with tailored safety and rescue training designed to meet the needs of centres, clubs or groups.

Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Course (PSRC) replaced Foundation Safety and Rescue Training (FSRT) on the 1st January 2023. Both the PRSC and FSRT are recognised as pre-requisites for the relevant qualifications e.g Paddlesport Instructor. White Water Safety course (WWS) replaced White Water Safety and Rescue Training (WWSR) on 1st November 2023. Both the WWS and WWSR are recognised as pre-requisites for the relevant qualifications e.g White Water Leader. Advanced White Water Safety course replaces Advanced White Water Safety and Rescue Training (WWSR) on 2nd January 2024. Both are recognised as pre-requisites for the relevant qualifications e.g Advanced White Water Leader. |
Our SUP safety day will give you all the tools to make keep you safe as you enjoy paddleboarding with your friends. This course is aimed at newer sup paddlers who want a deeper knowledge of safety issues and trip planning. |
The course aims to provide the student with the safety and rescue skills required to operate safely in a sheltered water environment and to be able to deal with common emergencies. Use our range of high quality boats to practice the most up to date rescue techniques. This is definitely the most fun you can have around, on and in the water. |
The white water safety course is designed for all paddlers operating in a moderate to white water environment in either kayak or canoe. Enjoy swimming in the river with our very experienced coaches. |

Advanced White Water Safety |

Although this advanced white water safety course is the prerequisite for the advanced white water leader award we suggest that anyone operating in advanced white water should use it as a refresher. Our coaches will give you the most up to date techniques and allow you to practice rescues in a safe environment. |
