British Canoeing Course Registration


Candidates wishing to undertake one of the following British Canoeing courses are required to register with their home nation office. The process checks you are eligible for the course you wish to attend, and allows British Canoeing to send you your course resources. British Canoeing continue to record and track your progress through the awards, holding detailed information on all your qualifications.

British Canoeing Pre-requisites

When registering allow a minimum of 14 days before attending your course.

British Canoeing Coach Courses

Candidates who wish to attend one of the following British Canoeing Coach courses are required to register with their home nation British Canoeing office before they are able to attend the course.

Registration is required at each coaching level and will be the start of the validating process for qualifications. It is also the means by which a candidate's training and assessment journey is recorded.

To register for a British Canoeing Coach Course...
1. Check you have all of the pre-requisites
2. Complete and return the Coach Registration (CR) Form

Candidates in Scotland are requested to complete the SCA CR Form

Once you have returned your CR Form, your details will be entered onto British Canoeing's system and your pre-requisites checked. Presuming everything is in order your CR Form will be returned to you (authorised and stamped). You will need to bring this with you to your course and hand it to your course director. You will also receive a candidate pack with further details about the course you have registered for.

If you need to declare a medical condition return the Medical Declaration Form to British Canoeing.

British Canoeing 4 or 5 Star Leadership Assessment

Candidates who wish to attend a British Canoeing 4 or 5 Star Leadership Assessment are required to register with their home nation office before they are able to attend the course.
